Appreciated it. My room was perfectly clean and cosy thanks to the superfriendly staff. It had a perfect and wonderful location adjacent to the restaurant which was a 5-10 minute walk through the village, the mountains overlooking the Amari Valley and the associated Taverna on the main road.

Great overall experience at Windy Place in Fourfouras. Low-budget hotel offers mountain views over the town and mountains. Superfriendly staff make the stay enjoyable. Quiet location next to the mountain in a lovely area. Satisfactory breakfast with a wide array of meals available.

I had a fantastic stay at this mountain retreat. the location was perfect for those willing to drive at night through the winding roads to the associated Taverna on the main road. the room was spacious and clean, with a well-equipped kitchenette and a lovely shared courtyard with a beautiful potted garden. the bathroom had good water pressure and the host was extremely hospitable. It was a peaceful escape, surrounded by stunning mountain views.

The lack of air conditioning in our room, so it's worth confirming if this is a priority for you.

The staff here were accommodating and had a positive attitude, and the triple room had a nice view over the mountains.

The hotel is comfortable and the staff was accommodating, with an unbeatable location on the E4 hike, staying in the triple room was cozy with an exceptionally comfortable bed.

Had a glass of local wine at the vineyard, explored ecotours and mountain climbing, and enjoyed a cup of tea.

The shower screen needed repair and my iPhone and iPad couldn't find the non-existent WiFi. 3G and 4G worked just fine though.

As bike riders, we loved the convenient location for hiking. The room with a large and convenient kitchen was perfect for preparing our meals. The hosts at Windy Place were fantastic, offering delicious homemade food at their taverna. The rooms were simple but good, with effective air conditioning and a clean, comfortable atmosphere. The courtyard with a beautiful potted garden added a nice touch to the overall stay. The host's hospitality was exceptional, and we even received assistance in retrieving a forgotten bag from their main place.

The hotel is clean, comfortable, slightly old-fashioned, and well-priced in a beautiful village in Crete's most beautiful region. Locals recommend it too! Mountain rest, moderate price. Impressed by the helpfulness of the family-run establishment, delicious food, chatting with the family and other guests. The area is stunning and far from crowded resorts and cities.

I absolutely loved the cozy and vintage atmosphere of the hotel. The decoration reminded me of my younger days, which made me feel right at home. The general areas were well-maintained and had a beautiful view of the mountains. As a senior person, I appreciated the accessibility of the hotel. The pathways and stairs were easy to navigate, and there were no obstacles that could cause any trouble.

For a better vacation experience for senior people, it would be great if the children working there could provide some assistance with carrying luggage up to the rooms.
